As development continues to gain momentum, it’s important that our infrastructure undergoes its own transformation to accommodate the city's rapid growth. As your city council member, I’ll make sure to prioritize infrastructure enhancements to help foster mobility, reduce congestion, and maintain the quality of life that District 5 residents expect and deserve.

Public services play a vital role in ensuring that all people, no matter background or economic status, have access to a quality life. As your city council member, I’ll work to ensure that our public service departments have the funding and support they need to continue providing resources to residents in need.

The key to a thriving community starts with access to quality education, from K-12, to higher education and innovative trade programs. That’s why I’ve spent much of my career investing in our schools, serving on local boards, and establishing workforce development programs that create pathways to secure employment. As your Council member, I’m committed to leveraging my platform to continue advocating for the parents, students, teachers, admin, and schools that are instrumental in securing a prosperous future for every member of our district.

The greater Huntsville area’s exceptional quality of life is celebrated nationwide, consistently ranking among the top ten cities in the United States. This distinction isn’t a coincidence. It’s a direct result of our community’s dedication to ensuring that its residents have the economic resources they need to thrive and compete. District 5 is the largest district in the city of Huntsville and has some of the most diverse needs. As your Council person, I will work to represent all areas and neighborhoods of District 5.
